In line with the thrust to democratize education, ABS-CBN Bayan Foundation has established Bayan Academy as the learning hub of the organization. The Academy serves as Bayan's in-house training center for the various skills and training courses for microfinance and social development institutions. To render microfinance as a more effective tool for poverty alleviation, ABS-CBN Bayan Foundation undertakes its social and enterprise development, for its clients nationwide. ABS-CBN Bayan Foundation spearheads integrated community rehabilitation and development by providing shelter, water, nutrition, education and livelihood programs in the Pacific Rim region. Secondary / High School Entrepreneurship Program
The high school entrepreneurship program is grounded on the idea of heightening the self worth of high school students. It aims to expose the entrepreneur in each of the students, developing their values and attitudes that would make them socially responsible individuals while preparing them to start their very own enterprises in the future.

BS Secondary /High School Entrepreneurship Program
The high school entrepreneurship program is grounded on the idea of heightening the self worth of high school students. BS Entrepreneurship Program
The bs entrepreneurship program builds on various courses that would prepare the students to become entrepreneurs. It is designed to develop students with lifetime skills to become leaders and managers in business and in society in general.

MBA Major in Entrepreneurship and Management (MBA-MEM) Program
The MBA-MEM is a 90-class day program designed for managers of social development and microfinance institutions and, small and micro entrepreneurs, the MBA-MEM program showcases practical learnings and skills that can be readily adapted to the management of organizations and businesses.


Faculty Capability Building Program

Learning Methodologies and Materials Development (LMMD)
Five-day course anchored on the whole brain learning system focusing on new learning strategies and case development methods designed for academic institutions.

Teaching Entrepreneurship and Microfinance Management (TEMM)
Five-day application course designed to impart the spirit and mindset of entrepreneurship to teachers and trainors so that they may inspire and influence their students to become entrepreneurs.

Professional/Management Certificate Couses
Stand-alone courses on enterprise management designed to improve the managerial skills of middle and top level management of social, development, microfinance institutions and micro and small enterprises.

Training of Trainors on Grassroots Entrepreneurship Management (GEM) Program
Gem is a 20-day trainors' training using highly interactive modules designed for microfinance institutions, rural banks and cooperatives with grassroots client systems, primarily women with livelihood and microenterprise undertakings.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of kitchen staff on food preparation and develop their competencies such as clean kitchen areas; cook hot and cold meals; and prepare portion and plate meat or food to guests in hotels, restaurants, clubs, canteen, resorts and luxury cruises.
COURSE DURATION: 436 hours (to be delivered on a staggered basis: 2 days or 16 hours per week)

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The Short Courses on Culinary are one-to-two-day courses covering special topics in commercial cooking. All the short courses include an entrepreneurial component. These courses are open to the public whose interest revolves around the culinary arts especially those who wish to engage in a small food enterprise. These short courses are offered at the BASE-HRD, a fully equipped culinary training facility of Bayan.

THE PHILIPPINE CULINARY ENTREPRENEURSHIP FOR THE GRASSROOTS (PCEG)
COURSE DESCRIPTION: A two-day customized culinary arts course for the grassroots focusing on the fundamentals of setting-up small scale food businesses. The Entrepreneurship component of the course will enable the participants to manage their business effectively while the hands-on component will enhance their cooking skills to deliver better quality food products and services.

Each course is customized per community based on environmental scanning and needs assessment. The recipes chosen for each course is based on current trends of Food SMEs in the community.

The PCEG courses are offered through the Entrep-Bus, a fully equipped culinary training facility on wheels capable of bringing the courses to the community.

GRASSROOTS ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
Also Known as Entrep-Eskwela
COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Consisting of twenty stand-alone modules, the Entrep-Eskwela is a complete course on entrepreneurship covering the three major areas of: Self-Mastery, Enterprise Mastery and Situation Mastery. Designed exclusively for micro-entrepreneurs and adult learners, the modules make use of highly interactive and visually appealing learning tools and materials. The micro-entrepreneur has the option to complete the whole course or selected modules only.

COURSE DURATION: 20 Days (each module can be delivered separately)
IMPLEMENTATION ARRANGEMENT: The implementation may be customized depending on the needs or desired outputs of the sponsoring agency. Often these trainings are directed towards capability building for micro-entrepreneurs or entrepreneurship as a whole.
